Inward Opening

This inward opening, tilt and turn window has an advanced, user-friendly locking mechanism. With a single handle and five locking points, the window can be easily used for ventilation and opening into the cleaning position so the external glass can be safely cleaned from the inside.

These can be produced in large sizes and provide particularly good architectural possibilities for optimal function. If you require an escape window, a removable centre post can be an additional feature for simple operation and will satisfy building regulation requirements for escape routes too (size permitting).

Fixed

Fixed frame windows allow extensive use of large glass areas. Personal safety, escape routes and the possibility of washing must always be considered before choosing a fixed light window. This window is also available as a smart solution for inside the building to create additional screening options or designs.

NorDan Aluminium windows are distinguished by ease of operation, large possible dimensions, safety, and durability. Products are developed to withstand the harshest climate conditions, meet Passive standard energy requirements, and ensure easy installation.

With a goal to reduce CO2 emisions, for windows we are using aluminium profiles based on Hydro REDUXA technology, production on hydropower. This means a reduction of CO2 by 50% compared to CO2 levels of standard aluminium production in Europe.

Inward Opening

Tilt & Turn Windows can be tilted inwards from the top for ventilation or turned 180’ inwards for easy cleaning from inside.
For rooms that do not require fire escapes, the turn function can be removed so the window only tilts in from the top.

Aluminium balcony doors feature 86 mm deep profiles and basic insulation with 42 mm of glass fiber reinforced polyamide strips. For superior energy efficiency, upgrade to Door 2086 SX with Sapa Thermo N9 insulating strips. Our system offers a choice of three seal performance levels:
Standard, Plus, and Extreme. With options for narrow and modular locks, as well as a rebate for glass and infill panel ranging from 20 to 56 (64) mm, these doors seamlessly integrate with our Façade Systems 4150, 5050 SG, and Glazed Elements 3086.

Our Double Balcony Doors have 86 mm deep profiles, basic insulation level with 42 mm of glass fibre reinforced polyamide strips. For optimum energy performance, choose Door 2086 SX with Sapa Thermo N9 insulating strips in profiles. System can be specified with choice of three seal performance levels: Standard, Plus and Extreme. Door leaf profiles are available for narrow and modular locks. Rebate for glass and infill panel 20–56 (64) mm. The outer glazing bead is integrated in the door profile for asymmetrically installed glazing units. These doors can easily be combined with our Facade Systems 4150, 5050 SG and Glazed Elements 3086. Sapa Door 2086 and 2086 SX 2086 is a highly insulated door. 2086 SX also has Sapa Thermo N9 insulating strips.
